13Worship, Gifts, and Love
Paul corrects abuses of the Lord's Supper and addresses spiritual gifts: every believer has gifts, no gift is superior. Chapter 13 — the "love chapter" — defines love as the necessary context for every gift.
13:4–7Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
